A nd he sent messengers unto Abimelech astutely, saying, Behold, Gaal, the son of Ebed, and his brethren have come to Shechem; and, behold, they have fortified the city against thee.

und sandte Botschaft zu Abimelech heimlich und ließ ihm sagen: Siehe, Gaal, der Sohn Ebeds, und seine Brüder sind gen Sichem gekommen und machen dir die Stadt aufrührerisch.
