T hen Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood and on which it was borne up, and leaned upon them, on the one with his right hand and on the other with his left.

Abraçou-se, pois, Sansão com as duas colunas do meio, em que se sustinha a casa, arrimando-se numa com a mão direita, e na outra com a esquerda.
