T hen the cardinals of the Philistines gathered themselves together to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god and to rejoice, for they said, Our god has delivered Samson our enemy into our hands.

Os líderes dos filisteus se reuniram para oferecer um grande sacrifício a seu deus Dagom e para festejar. Comemorando sua vitória, diziam: “O nosso deus entregou o nosso inimigo Sansão em nossas mãos”.
