A nd it came to pass on the seventh day that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice thy husband that he may declare unto us this enigma lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire. Have ye called us here to impoverish us?

Trei zile, n-au putut deslega ghicitoarea. În ziua a şaptea, au zis nevestei lui Samson:,,Înduplecă pe bărbatul tău să ne deslege ghicitoarea; altfel, te vom arde, pe tine şi casa tatălui tău. Ne-aţi adunat aici ca să ne jăfuiţi, nu -i aşa?``
