F or thou shalt conceive and bear a son, and no razor shall come on his head, for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb; and he shall begin to save Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

Poiché ecco, tu concepirai e partorirai un figlio, sulla testa del quale non passerà rasoio, perché il bambino sarà un nazireo, consacrato a Dio dal seno di sua madre, e sarà lui che comincerà a liberare Israele dalle mani dei Filistei».
