A nd she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which has proceeded out of thy mouth, forasmuch as the LORD has taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the sons of Ammon.

Nàng thưa rằng: Cha ôi, nếu cha có mở miệng khấn nguyện cùng Đức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy làm cho con y như lời ra khỏi miệng cha, vì bây giờ Đức Giê-hô-va đã báo thù kẻ cừu địch cha rồi, tức là dân Am-môn.
