N either did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Bethshean and its towns nor Taanach and its towns nor the inhabitants of Dor and its towns nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns; but the Canaanite desired to dwell in that land.

Anche Manasse non scacciò gli abitanti di Bet-Sean e delle città del suo territorio, né quelli di Taanac e delle città del suo territorio, né quelli di Dor e delle città del suo territorio, né quelli d’Ibleam e delle città del suo territorio, né quelli di Meghiddo e delle città del suo territorio, perché i Cananei erano decisi a restare in quel paese.
