F or all the Gentiles have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the power of her delicacies.

Denn von dem Wein des Zorns ihrer Hurerei haben alle Heiden getrunken, und die Könige auf Erden haben mit ihr Hurerei getrieben, und die Kaufleute auf Erden sind reich geworden von ihrer großen Wollust.
