Joshua 8:29 ~ Josué 8:29

A nd he hanged the king of Ai on a tree until evening, and as soon as the sun was down, Joshua commanded that they should take his carcase down from the tree and cast it at the entering of the gate of the city and raise a great heap of stones upon it, that remains unto this day.

Enforcou o rei de Ai numa árvore e ali o deixou até a tarde. Ao pôr-do-sol Josué ordenou que tirassem o corpo da árvore e que o atirassem à entrada da cidade. E sobre ele ergueram um grande monte de pedras, que perdura até hoje. A Renovação da Aliança no Monte Ebal
