A nd Joshua rose up early in the morning and numbered the people and went up he and the elders of Israel, before the people against Ai.

وَاستِيقَظَ يَشُوعُ فِي الصَّباحِ باكِراً وَجَمَعَ كُلَّ الجَيشِ. ثُمَّ خَرَجَ مَعَ شُيُوخِ إسْرائِيلَ أمامَ جَيشِ عايَ.
