Joshua 4:8 ~ Josué 4:8

A nd the sons of Israel did so as Joshua commanded and took up twelve stones out of the midst of the Jordan, as the LORD spoke unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Israel and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged and laid them down there.

Fizeram, pois, os filhos de Israel assim como Josué tinha ordenado, e levantaram doze pedras do meio do Jordão como o Senhor dissera a Josué, segundo o número das tribos dos filhos de Israel; e levaram-nas consigo ao lugar em que pousaram, e as depositaram ali.
