A nd the bones of Joseph, which the sons of Israel had brought up out of Egypt, they buried in Shechem in the part of the field which Jacob bought from the sons of Hamor, the father of Shechem, for one hundred ewes, and it became the inheritance of the sons of Joseph.

Oasele lui Iosif, pe care israeliţii le aduseseră din Egipt, au fost îngropate la Şehem, pe terenul cumpărat de Iacov de la hamoriţi – Hamor era tatăl lui Şehem – pentru o sută de chesita şi care era moştenirea urmaşilor lui Iosif.
