T he LORD has put the Jordan for a border between us and you, O sons of Reuben and sons of Gad; ye have no part in the LORD, so shall your sons make our sons cease from fearing the LORD.

Homens de Rúben e de Gade! O Senhor fez do Jordão uma fronteira entre nós e vocês. Vocês não têm parte com o Senhor ’. Assim os seus descendentes poderiam levar os nossos a deixarem de temer o Senhor.
