a nd the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hands of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword and all the souls that were therein; he let no one remain in it, but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.

Господь отдал в руки Израиля и этот город вместе с его царем. Город и всех, кто в нем был, Иисус предал мечу. Он никого не оставил там в живых. Он поступил с его царем так же, как и с царем Иерихона.
