Deuteronomy 9:18 ~ Deuteronom 9:18

A nd I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water because of all your sins in which ye sinned in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

M-am aruncat cu faţa la pământ înaintea Domnului timp de patruzeci de zile şi patruzeci de nopţi. Nu am mâncat pâine şi nici nu am băut apă din cauza tuturor păcatelor pe care le-aţi săvârşit. Astfel aţi făcut ce este rău înaintea Domnului şi I-aţi provocat mânia.
