A sk, therefore, now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has any other been heard like it?

Спроси о прежних днях, которые были задолго до тебя, со дня, когда Бог сотворил на земле человека. Спроси небеса - от края до края. Случалось ли что-нибудь подобное этому великому делу, и разве слышали когда-нибудь о чем-то подобном?
