t hat at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world,

recuerden que en ese tiempo ustedes estaban separados de Cristo, excluidos de la ciudadanía (comunidad) de Israel, extraños a los pactos de la promesa, sin tener esperanza y sin Dios en el mundo.
