T herefore, in the manner which sin entered into the world by one man, and because of sin, death; and so death passed upon all men in the one in whom all sinned.

De aceea, aşa cum păcatul a intrat în lume printr-un singur om, iar prin păcat a intrat moartea, şi astfel moartea a trecut la toţi oamenii, prin aceasta toţi au păcătuit.
