A nd they, when they had testified and preached the word of God, returned to Jerusalem and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

Now when had borne their testimony and preached the message of the Lord, they went back to Jerusalem, proclaiming the glad tidings (Gospel) to many villages of the Samaritans.
