T hen the priest of Jupiter, who was before their city, brought bulls and garlands unto the gates and would have done sacrifice unto them with the people.

وَأحضَرَ كاهِنُ زَفْسَ، الَّذِي كانَ مَعبَدُهُ عِندَ مَدخَلِ المَدِينَةِ، ثِيراناً وَأكالِيلَ إلَى بَوّاباتِ المَدِينَةِ. فَقَدْ أرادَ هُوَ وَالجَمعُ أنْ يُقَدِّمُوا ذَبائِحَ لَهُما.
