T hen there arose a question between the disciples of John and the Jews about purifying.

وَحَدَثَتْ مُجادَلَةٌ بَيْنَ بَعْضِ تَلامِيْذِ يُوحَنّا وَبَيْنَ رَجُلٍ يَهُودِيٍّ حَولَ مَسْألَةِ الاغتِسالِ الطَّقْسِيِّ.
