T his is the disciple who testifies of these things and wrote these things, and we know that his testimony is true.

هَذا هُوَ التِّلمِيْذُ الَّذِي يَشهَدُ بِهَذِهِ الأُمُورِ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي دَوّنَها. وَنَحنُ نَعلَمُ أنَّ شَهادَتُهُ صَحِيْحَةٌ.
