T he Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we do not stone thee, but for blasphemy; and because thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

أجابَهُ اليَهُودُ: «لا نُرِيْدُ أنْ نَرْجُمَكَ مِنْ أجلِ عَمَلٍ صالِحٍ، بَلْ لِأنَّكَ أهَنْتَ اللهَ. فَمَعْ أنَّكَ إنسانٌ، تَجعَلُ نَفْسَكَ اللهَ!»
