( For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him, and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters, and he broke the bands and was driven of the demon into the wilderness.)

Gesù, infatti, aveva comandato allo spirito immondo di uscire da quell’uomo, di cui si era impadronito da molto tempo; e, anche quando lo legavano con catene e lo custodivano in ceppi, spezzava i legami e veniva trascinato via dal demonio nei deserti.
