s aying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother dies, having a wife, and he dies without children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up seed unto his brother.

«يا مُعَلِّمُ، كَتَبَ مُوسَى لَنا: ‹إنْ كانَ لِأحَدٍ أخٌ مُتَزَوِّجٌ، وَماتَ ذَلِكَ الأخُ وَلَمْ يُنجِبْ أولاداً، فَإنَّ عَلَى أخِيهِ أنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ أرمَلَتَهُ وَيُنجِبَ وَلَداً يُنسَبُ لِأخِيْهِ.›
