i t seemed good also to me, after having understood all the things from the beginning with great diligence, to write them unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,

وَحَيثُ إنِّي قَدْ تَحَقَّقتُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيءٍ بِدِقَّةٍ، رَأيتُ أنا أيضاً أنْ أكتُبَ إلَيكَ، يا صاحِبَ السَّعادَةِ ثاوْفِيلُسَ، وَصْفاً مُتَسَلسِلاً لِتِلكَ الأحداثِ مُنذُ البِدايَةِ،
