B ut the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves, for the wind was contrary.

وَكانَ القارِبُ قَدْ صارَ في مَنتَصَفِ البُحَيرَةِ، وَالأمواجُ تَصطَدِمُ بِهِ بِشِدَّةٍ، لِأنَّ الرِّيحَ كانَتْ مُعاكِسَةً لاتِّجاهِ القارِبِ.
