t hese were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, captains of the thousands of Israel.

هَؤُلاءِ هُمُ الرِّجالُ الَّذِينَ وَقَعَ عَلَيهِمْ الاخْتِيارُ مِنْ وَسَطِ الشَّعبِ لِيَكُونُوا رُؤَساءَ قَبائِلِ آبائِهِمْ. إنَّهُمْ قادَةُ قَبائِلِ إسرائيلَ.
