T hy bow was entirely uncovered, and the oaths unto the tribes, eternal word, when thou didst divide the earth with rivers.

Your bow was made quite bare; sworn to the tribes by Your sure word were the rods of chastisement, scourges, and calamities. Selah! With rivers You cleaved the earth.
