O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal: that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

Povo meu, lembra-te agora da consulta de Balaque, rei de Meabe, e do que lhe respondeu Balaão, filho de Beor, e do que sucedeu desde Sitini até Gilgal, para que conheças as justiças do Senhor.
