Jonah 1:3 ~ Jonas 1:3

B ut Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD and went down to Joppa, and he found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare thereof and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish fleeing from the presence of the LORD.

Jonas, porém, levantou-se para fugir da presença do Senhor para Társis. E, descendo a Jope, achou um navio que ia para Társis; pagou, pois, a sua passagem, e desceu para dentro dele, para ir com eles para Társis, da presença do Senhor.
