A ll the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border; the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee and prevailed against thee; those that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee; there is no intelligence in this.

Alle deine eigenen Bundesgenossen werden dich zum Lande hinausstoßen; die Leute, auf die du deinen Trost setztest, werden dich betrügen und überwältigen; die dein Brot essen, werden dich verraten, ehe du es merken wirst.
