T hen the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar.

And the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering and shall pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar.
