A nd any person that eats that which died of itself or that which was torn by beasts whether it is a natural of your own country or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening; then he shall be clean.

Toda persona nacida entre ustedes, y todo extranjero, que coma algún animal que haya sido matado o despedazado por una fiera, deberá lavar sus vestidos, y lavarse a sí misma con agua, y se quedará impura hasta el anochecer. Después de eso, será declarada limpia.
