T hen Moses said unto Aaron and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Do not uncover your heads, neither rend your clothes lest ye die and lest wrath come upon the whole congregation; but your brethren, the whole house of Israel, shall lament the burning which the LORD has done.

După aceea, Moise le-a zis lui Aaron şi fiilor săi, Elazar şi Itamar: „Să nu vă descoperiţi capetele şi să nu vă sfâşiaţi veşmintele căci veţi muri şi El se va mânia pe toată adunarea. Lăsaţi-i pe fraţii voştri, toată casa lui Israel, să-i jelească pe cei ce au fost mistuiţi de focul Domnului.
