E phraim provoked God to anger with bitterness: therefore his blood shall be spilled upon him, and his reproach shall his Lord repay unto him.

¡Pero cuántos amargos disgustos Efraín me ha causado! Por lo tanto, yo, el Señor, haré que recaiga sobre él la sangre que ha derramado, y le devolveré sus ofensas.
