A nd now, O Lord our God, who hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and hast won for thyself a very clear name as appears unto this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

Na verdade, ó Senhor, nosso Deus, que tiraste o teu povo da terra do Egito com mão poderosa, e te adquiriste nome como hoje se vê, temos pecado, temos procedido impiamente.
