h e cried aloud and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit; let the beasts get away from under him and the fowls from his branches:

Markaasuu intuu aad u qayliyey yidhi, Geedka gooya, laamihiisana ka jara, caleemihiisana ka daadiya, midhihiisana kala firdhiyaa; xayawaanku hoostiisa ha ka fogaadeen, haadkuna laamihiisa.
