Ezekiel 8:12 ~ ﺣﺰﻗﻴﺎﻝ 8:12

T hen said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, each man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD does not see us; the LORD has forsaken the earth.

حِينَئِذٍ، قالَ لِي: «يا إنْسانُ، هَلْ تَرَى ما يَعمَلُهُ شُيُوخُ بَني إسْرائِيلَ فِي الظُّلمَةِ، كُلُّ واحِدٍ فِي حُجرَةِ صَنَمِهِ. إنَّهُمْ يَعمَلُونَ هَذا لِأنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ فِي أنفُسِهِمْ: ‹إنَّ اللهَ لا يَرانا. اللهُ تَرَكَ هَذِهِ الأرْضَ.›»
