S ay unto them, As I live, said the Lord GOD, I do not desire the death of the wicked but that the wicked turn from his way and that he live; turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Di' loro: Com'è vero che io vivo», dice il Signore, l'Eterno, «io non mi compiaccio della morte dell'empio, ma che l'empio si converta dalla sua via e viva; convertitevi, convertitevi dalle vostre vie malvagie. Perché mai dovreste morire, o casa d'Israele?
