a nd say, Thus hath the Lord GOD said concerning Jerusalem: Thy habitation and thy race was of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite and thy mother a Hittite.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah to Jerusalem: Thy birth and thy nativity of the land of the Canaanite, Thy father the Amorite, and thy mother a Hittite.
