B ehold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee and have diminished thy liberty and delivered thee unto the will of those that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of thy lewd way.

De aceea Mi-am întins mâna împotriva ta şi ţi-am redus plata de întreţinere. Te-am dat pe mâna celor ce te urau, adică a filistencelor, care până şi ele s-au ruşinat de purtarea ta nelegiuită.
