C heth The LORD has purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion; he has stretched out the line; he has not withdrawn his hand from destroying; therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they were destroyed together.

Il Signore ha deciso di distruggere le mura della figlia di Sion. Ha steso la corda, non ha ritirato la mano prima di averli distrutti; ha coperto di lutto bastioni e mura: gli uni e le altre sono distrutti.
