C aph My eyes fail with tears; my bowels are troubled; my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people because the children and the sucklings faint in the streets of the city.

Ochii mei s-au sfârşit de atâta plâns, iar măruntaiele-mi fierb; ficatul mi se varsă pe pământ, deoarece fiica poporului meu este zdrobită; copiii şi cei alăptaţi sunt leşinaţi pe străzile cetăţii.
