¶ Aleph How has the Lord darkened the daughter of Zion in his anger! He has cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel and not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger!

Vai! în ce întunecime a aruncat Domnul, în mînia Lui, pe fiica Sionului. A asvîrlit din cer pe pămînt podoaba lui Israel, şi nu Şi -a mai adus aminte de scaunul picioarelor Lui, în ziua mîniei Lui!
