G imel Judah is gone into captivity because of the affliction and because of the greatness of the servitude; she dwells among the Gentiles; she finds no rest; all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.

Presa de la aflicción y de cruel esclavitud, Judá marcha al cautiverio; ahora habita entre las naciones sin hallar descanso alguno. La acosan sus perseguidores, la ponen en aprietos.
