T herefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no longer be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter; for they shall bury in Tophet, for there shall be no other place.

Perciò ecco, vengono i giorni», dice l'Eterno, «nei quali non si chiamerà piú "Tofet" né "la Valle del figlio di Hinnom" ma "la Valle del massacro" e si seppelliranno i morti in Tofet, perché non ci sarà spazio altrove.
