T hen Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and the fugitives that had fled to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.

Entonces Nabuzaradán, capitán de la guardia, llevó al destierro a algunos de los más pobres del pueblo, al resto del pueblo que había quedado en la ciudad, a los desertores que se habían pasado al rey de Babilonia, y al resto de los artesanos.
