T herefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the desert shall destroy them and a tiger shall lie in wait over their cities; anyone that goes out from there shall be torn in pieces because their rebellions have been multiplied, and their backslidings are increased.

Din această cauză, un leu din pădure îi va ataca şi un lup din pustie îi va distruge. Leopardul îi va pândi în apropierea cetăţilor lor ca să-i sfâşie pe toţi cei ce vor ieşi din ele, căci fărădelegile lor sunt fără număr, iar răzvrătirile lor s-au înmulţit.“
