B ut we will certainly do whatsoever thing goes forth out of our own mouth to burn incense unto the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings unto her as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem; for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

а непременно ще вършим всичко, което е излязло от устата ни, че ще кадим на небесната царица и ще ѝ правим възлияния, както правехме ние и бащите ни, царете и първенците ни, в Юдейските градове и по йерусалимските улици; защото тогава ядяхме хляб до насита, добре ни беше и зло не видяхме.
